3D Virtual View
If only you could get a real-life image of what your “reborn” home would look like, some of your fears around remodeling would be eliminated.
oes your home not quite give you the lifestyle you desire? Perhaps it is too small for your growing family or was built, as were many older homes, at a time when kitchens were separated from the main living areas, bathrooms were smaller and fewer, and closets were all but unheard of. You love your neighborhood or the charm of older homes and do not want to move, yet you are not sure how to transition the dream for your home to a reality.
If only you could get a real-life image of what your “reborn” home would look like, some of your fears around remodeling would
be eliminated. With today’s technology you can have just that. Architectural design software now has the capability to create 3D color images of what your finished project will look like, and that is only part of it. If you have ever taken virtual tours of homes on real estate Web sites, you can do the same of your own remodeled home.
Let’s say you wish to enlarge and open your kitchen to the adjacent family room. After the plans are drawn, you can place a camera in the kitchen and get a 360-degree 3D view, including the adjacent rooms, and you can position the camera (your own eyes)
in any adjacent room to see what the view of the kitchen will look like from that vantage point.
Remodeling or adding to an existing home is an expensive proposition, not one to be taken lightly. You rightly want to be assured that the finished project will be everything you hoped for. With today’s technology and a skilled contractor, you can be confident that you will have your dream become a reality. l
